This morning, there was a lot of uncertainty about the euro after yesterday's election in Britain. The session was well below yesterday's Value, continuing the bearish trend in recent days. Yet something had made me opt for choosing the long as the direction to follow in my intraday operativity. I opted for long against all the evidence. Why? Here is the context of the market: 1) May 17 had created resistance in area 1.1168 / 1.1190. This area was later changed into support on May 19th. And even on May 30, when the Euro seemed to ruin down, at the end of the day, this support was reconfirmed. 2)Already overnight the downturn had "softened" and when I opened my platform at 9 am the price was congested. At some point I saw a good sales signal, which in fact unlocked congestion by pushing the price down. Looking at 15 minutes chart I did not see any accumulation, a sign that the "Bigs" were not really interested in selling, at least not for the moment. Conclusion: Most likely they would have tested the support area and there they would have eaten all the sellers by returning the price at least to retest yesterday LVA, and then either kick off or run the market and go on with the long. And what did the price do? It tested the support, he reacted on the bottom reversal level (1.1171) and turned long, with nice accumulation, up to retracing yesterday's LVA. As it will end we will see it on Monday. I commenti sono chiusi.
